Search volumes are collected from the Google Ads keyword planner and shown for projects in the L-Vol and G-Vol columns.

All values are the average monthly searches for the last 12 month period.

L-Vol is the "local" volume which is the average monthly searches for the country of the Google region i.e.

A project using www.google.com will have the local volume for the USA, www.google.fr will be France and www.google.se will be Sweden.

G-Vol is the "global" volume which is the average monthly searches for the whole world.

It can take a bit of time for the volumes to be first updated when you add a new keyword to a project if we dont have the very latest data available.

Once added we will update the volume automatically, but you can manually request the data to be updated in the "Options" menu at the top of a project.

For non Google projects we will only show the Google global, G-Vol, values as the data for other search engines in either not available or not as comprehensive.
